Since 1916, through good times and bad, Community Nurse Private Care has always been here, bringing quality, skilled health care to families and individuals in their homes in the communities of southeastern Massachusetts. - Be cared for face-to-face, heart-to-heart as part of our family
- Benefit from the continuum of care that we offer and easily obtain certified home care and visiting nurse services, Alzheimer's care, therapy and hospice services if needed
- Hire staff that have background checks completed and are insured and bonded at our agency. High standards are maintained through on-going suprevision.
- Have personal care services that include a free initial assessment by a nurse and on-going care by a certified nurse's aide (CNA).
Our history
Community Nurse & Hospice Care is one of the largest providers of home health and hospice services in southeastern Massachusetts. Founded in 1916 by a group of concerned area residents and health professionals, CNHC is a non-profit agency dedicated to rendering comprehensive home care and support to hombound patients in southeastern Massachusetts. In 1993, CNHC established the first Medicare-certified hospice program in the area to assist patients and their families in the final stages of terminal illness. More recently, we have developed a private care program where patients and their families can purchase additional services at home to maintain freedom and independence.
