Article 16 Clinic:
Provides habilitative and rehabilitative services for adults and children with developmental disabilities, and in some cases, their family members. A multidisciplinary team approach will be utilized to assist individuals with developmental disabilities to enhance their potential for independence, integration, individualization and productivity. Services available at the clinic are: psychological testing and counseling; rehabilitation counseling; physical therapy; social work (counseling); occupational therapy; speech therapy; nursing. Individuals participating in the clinic must currently possess a diagnosis of developmental disability or be referred to the clinic to determine whether a developmental disability exists. An individual does not have to be involved in other SASI programs to be eligible for clinical services. For more information call an intake worker at (716) 496-5551.
